New feature in Batuta: Endpoint Hardening Module

Endpoint Hardening enables organizations to continuously strengthen and demonstrate the security posture of all endpoints without adding operational burden. The module turns hardening into an automatic, ongoing process, ensuring every device complies with secure and verifiable configurations.

This evolution of the Compliance module extends hardening across Windows, macOS, and Linux, allowing organizations to maintain consistent and secure configurations throughout their entire endpoint environment from a single control point.

What’s new?

  • Controls available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Policies that can be prioritized and executed automatically to keep hardening active without manual intervention.
  • Each control can be evaluated, applied, or rolled back, reducing operational risk.
  • Pre-certified controls and the option to create custom controls when standards don’t fit your operation.

Key Benefits

  • Reduce attack surface by consistently applying secure configurations.
  • Compliance metrics per device and policy for reporting and audits.
  • Automated remediation with immediate rollback if a change impacts operations.
  • Action prioritization by severity to focus on critical risks.

💡 Why it matters

Hardening often depends on manual efforts that are difficult to sustain over time. Endpoint Hardening turns it into a continuous and controlled process, reducing configuration drift and lowering operational risk.

Security teams gain real visibility and control over endpoint configurations, reduce remediation cycles, and face audits with less friction. Hardening stops being a reactive action and becomes part of daily endpoint operations.

Other Key Updates in This Release

The Proactivity Level is now called Endpoint Posture Score (EPS). It includes more systems and reflects the latest hardening standards, giving you a more complete and up-to-date view of your endpoints’ security.
